Responsibilities:
- Develop and own components of a large-scale distributed system with a focus on high performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot issues with a hawkish acumen, ensuring a healthy cloud and happy customers.
- Display accountability and ownership of assigned areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages – C.
- Strong in Algorithms and Data Structures.
- Excellent software design, profiling, and verification skills.
- Solid understanding of High-performance Computing, Event-based programming, Multi-threading, Memory optimization, Fault Tolerance, etc.
- Sound knowledge of FreeBSD or any Unix systems internals.
- Good understanding of distributed systems.
- Very strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with Perl / Python is desirable.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in design/code reviews and preferably in writing automatable unit and integration tests.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter, goal-driven, and able to work effectively in remote teams.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
